Micro FUT Hair Transplantation Technique:

Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) stands for “Follicular Unit Transplantation.” This method is one of the most advanced hair transplantation techniques. Interestingly, it has been the most popular method among candidates in the last 20 years and has led to significant advancements in this field. This technique remains popular among patients and hair transplant physicians, receiving significant acceptance. FUT involves surgery but does not require general anesthesia. All stages are performed under local anesthesia.

Suitability of Micro FUT Hair Transplantation:

Individuals with average hair density and empty areas on their scalp are the best candidates for the Micro FUT technique.

Stages of Micro FUT Hair Transplantation:

1. Consultation with a specialist physician.

2. Examination and consultation with the physician.

3. Taking photos of the donor and recipient areas.

4. Conducting relevant tests.

5. Designing and outlining donor and recipient areas (the most crucial part is the hairline design).

6. Surgical removal of a strip (flap) from the donor area (hair bank).

7. Preparation and extraction of follicular units from the flap under a microscope by a technician.

8. Finally, grafting the extracted follicular units into the recipient area.

Advantages of Micro FUT Hair Transplantation:

– Natural appearance of transplanted hair and hairline.

– Maximum possible density achieved in a single session.

– Up to 9,000 hair follicles can be transplanted in one procedure.

– The entire donor area does not need to be shaved.

– Extracted follicular units are of high quality due to meticulous microscopic extraction.

– Shorter time gap between extraction and grafting results in higher graft quality.

– Not suitable for individuals with diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension, asthma, or advanced age.

– Possibility of visible suture area.

– Risk of scarring at the suture site.

– Possibility of bleeding and hematoma.
